We treat feeding as a team sport involving you, your baby, and your support system. The goal is effective, comfortable feeding, with milk production and transfer matched to your baby’s needs, and a sustainable plan that protects growth and rest for the whole family.
Underproduction, oversupply, a poor latch, inefficient transfer, and related concerns can quickly turn into medical problems that affect your family’s health and quality of life when they go unresolved. Our role is to listen to your concerns, find the contributing factors, and treat them early and comprehensively, before they compound.

Our visits are intentionally longer than a typical specialist appointment, with room to listen fully, answer your questions, and build understanding rather than rushing to a conclusion. Because these are medical visits for feeding and lactation problems, your insurance may apply a copay or deductible, and we’ll help you understand it.

- In office, including Saturdays and most holidays. We see families at our Central Tucson clinic, with Saturday availability when many practices are closed.

- Telehealth for concerns that don’t need an in-person exam, including for families who travel back to Mexico.
- In-home phototherapy for jaundice, as an alternative to delayed discharge or readmission, with stat bilirubin draws and lab coordination.

We provide a full range of medical treatments and therapies for feeding and lactation problems, and we look for the real cause rather than reaching for a procedure you don’t need. We tell you the truth, even when it is “your baby doesn’t need that release.” Your goals lead, and we support breastfeeding, combination feeding, and pumping without judgment.
We are bilingual, we accept most insurance, and we coordinate with your pediatrician, OB, and midwife so everyone is working from the same plan.
