Newborn and breastfeeding answers, for the 3am questions.

Feeding a new baby comes with a thousand questions, and most of them show up in the middle of the night. This is our library: clear, clinician-reviewed guides on latch, milk supply, newborn weight, tongue-tie and more, from the breastfeeding medicine team at Barrio Babies in Tucson, plus a curated list of trusted outside resources.

Who writes this

Barrio Babies is a breastfeeding medicine clinic in Tucson, part of Barrio Healthcare. Our team cares for nursing parents and babies together, in the same visit, because feeding problems almost always involve both of you. These guides are written and reviewed by our clinical team before they publish. They are general education, updated regularly, and they are not medical advice for your specific baby.

We built this library because good information should be free. And because when information is not enough, we want you to know exactly where to go.

When reading is not enough.

If breastfeeding hurts, if your baby is not gaining well, or if something just feels off, those are exactly the visits we do every day. Book a visit and we will figure out what is really going on, together.
